Angel Food Ministries

Central is a serving church - We serve our community because that's what we think Jesus wants us to do.  We give away 10% of all monetary offerings collected to causes of our community, outside of our local church campus.

Angel Food is our "signature" serving event and has enabled us to serve thousands of area residents over the last 3 years.

Everyone is qualified and invited to order.  All you do is order, pay and pick up your food in our Fellowship Hall.  It's that easy!

NBC 5 Features Angel Food

North Texas families tight on money are getting more out of their budget through a program called Angel Food Ministries. It's a nationwide non-profit program that provides a family of four with a week's supply of food for $30 or an elderly person for almost a month.

Christa Sweet, a single mom with two boys, told NBCDFW "You get a lot of food for the money, and with the economy, it really helps."

"This is not about gaining members.  This is about showing the love we have for people and serving," explained Sharon Hudson, the Angel Food Ministries coordinator at Central Christian Church in Fort Worth.
