Tina Owens, Associate Minister - Students

On March 8, 1992, Tina was invited to go to see how fellow Howard Payne University students spend their Sunday mornings. 
 
She was invited to a church service at a juvenile detention center in Brownwood, Texas.  On that day, Tina stated, "It was the first time I ever heard that Jesus wanted to have a personal relationship with us."  On that very day, Tina attended a local church in Brownwood, Tx and became a Christian. 

A week later after accepting Christ into her life, Tina immediately began ministering to others.  She felt as she had found her calling. Tina  was amazed at how she impacted people's lives whether they were young or mature.

Over the next ten plus years, Tina spent time impacting the lives of teenagers, young adults and pastors.

Now, Tina is the Student Minister at Central Christian Church.  Her mission is to develop teenage leaders who passionately love God, truly care for other, and know how to have fun!!!!!!!!
